It's been brought to my attention that a little note informing you all that I'm not dead would be appreciated.
For those who don't know, I'm currently in law school and once school began my time to commit to this blog decreased. That's not the death knell of Left Coast Bias of course, we will return in force when the season begins. For now, look here for the latest in Padres off-season moves and acquisitions.
Here's a quick update of Padres news:
- Jake Peavy became the 3rd Padre to win the National League Cy Young Award by a unanimous vote. Peavy lead the league in the Triple Crown of pitching statistics: ERA, Wins, Batting Average Against
- Greg Maddox was re-signed for a 1 - year deal worth $11 million.
- No trades yet but lots of rumors...a full rumor mill post will follow in a few weeks
Quick Chargers Note:
I am also an avid Chargers fan and as one have been somewhat disappointed in the 6-5 start to the season. Here's hoping the game against Baltimore was the beginning of the revival. Otherwise it will be a 1 and done for new head coach Norv Turner.
